They needed a private B2B Shopify store with advanced capabilities, including:

Solutions

Zrafted designed and developed a custom B2B wholesale solution on Shopify, using a combination of Shopify’s native features, custom-coded scripts, and third-party app integrations to meet every requirement.

Here’s what we implemented:

✅ Customer Approval Workflow

We created a “Buyer Application” page, where new users fill out a detailed form. Once submitted, the admin reviews and approves applicants manually. Only approved customers gain access to pricing and the ability to place orders.

✅ Hidden Pricing + Login Gate

Using custom Shopify Liquid code and app integration, we hid all pricing and “Add to Cart” buttons for unapproved and non-logged-in users, turning the website into a secure wholesale portal.

✅ Tiered Pricing & Bulk Discounts

We configured dynamic multi-level pricing (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold tiers) that automatically display once the customer is logged in. We also applied bulk discounts per product based on quantity thresholds.

✅ Minimum Cart Value Enforcement

A minimum cart requirement was set (e.g., $200) before checkout becomes available. This ensured high-volume B2B orders and prevented unqualified customers from placing small orders.

✅ Variant Matrix & Smart Grouping

To handle 449 products with over 7000 variants, we used custom variant selectors and smart UX to help buyers place large orders quickly—bulk add-to-cart, color-size matrix view, and quick-edit quantities.

✅ Performance Optimization

With a large product catalog, performance was critical. We optimized the site using lazy loading, script compression, and careful third-party app management to ensure lightning-fast speed.
